* A standard 44 Teeth front chainring comes with the motor but we strongly recommend upgrading to the 42T offset narrow / wide version which is lighter, has spaces which alternate in size just like your chain and will greatly reduce the chances of your chain jumping off. It also helps keep a better chain line between it and the rear gear cogs. The slightly smaller diameter is also better suited to handling gradients and making your ride easier uphill although with a slight loss of speed on level ground.
